Phase 2 is about the Tattoo. Corbett is my mothers maiden name. My son (17 and pierced all over -which I can excuse but cringe at the ear extension thingys) wants a tattoo for Christmas. My sister is intent on us all getting crows to honour the Corbett family.
This is her tattoo. Ugly eh! But authentic. So she says.
I prefer Johny Crow (see above) or Ralph the Raven (to the right). Ralph is from Goody-Two Shoes and although I don't think Ralph is attractive he has literary merit. The other choices involve a wine label and Anlaf's silver penny at the British Museum. The nice thing about the wine label is that I can bring in the bottle for the picture and maybe guzzle the wine as they stick needles into my skin. I should do a poll but since I'm hoping no one reads this its a bit silly. I holding out for an artists rendition of the penny (a good historical link and one I wouldn't be embarrassed to tell people about)
The next pictures are from Spacing magazine--I often use their archives for wallpaper for work. (Hey - its municipal, classy and somewhat professional).
These are rocks at the Scarborough Bluffs.
Bike and graffiti.
Wet graffiti.
Boat on ice
Snow and trees.

Help
I am having some trouble here. I do not seem to be able to upload any pictures from my Flickr account (other than of my sister's gift--who has yet received a name but lives quietly in the garden). I am going to attempt to link another page to this entry and we shall see how far I get. I would like to explore the whole issue around the Ontario Referendum -- I can't figure out how to vote.
Until I have the energy to start searching I hope this article on words will entertain and enlighten. By the way the Map Blog I found is quite interesting.
I got the photo! It does seem a bit round about.
This, by the way, is my favorite scene in Party Girl. Probably contravened some copyright things here.

On a serious note
I do want to have more appreciation of Web 2.0. Although I know a fair bit I don't really have the time "play" around with things. I need some guidance and I hope to get it here. I'd like to attribute the cartoon below to the Unshelved people.
23 things assignment #1
What do I want to learn? Well to begin with about blogs. In many ways I can't see much of a point to them as I am not terribly interested in many people's daily grind. I will look for more, however, that I want visit. Maybe a blog about Librarians and their greyhounds or what literary tattoo should I get or ...
